What light bulb does the Keichi use?

It uses an E26/E27 LED bulb that meets the recommended specifications. A bulb may be included for initial testing. Only LED bulbs should be used, as incandescent or halogen bulbs may generate excessive heat. You may choose a different LED bulb to suit your preferred brightness.

What makes the rice paper shade special?

The rice paper diffuses light beautifully for a gentle, even glow. It looks light and airy and gives the lamp its classic Akari washi style character.

Can I replace the paper shade later?

Yes. The shade is removable. If you ever need a replacement, we can help you source one.

How quick is the setup for the Keichi?

Just a few minutes. Clear instructions and any tools you need are included. Fit the shade, screw in the bulb and plug it in.

How do I clean and care for the paper shade?

Give it a light dust with a soft brush or microfiber cloth. Keep it dry and handle it gently so the paper stays crisp.

Will the Keichi fit my space?
