Olbia FAQs

  • Think of it as a strong modern candle or small ambient lamp that creates a soft pool of light on a table rather than lighting the whole room.

  • The lamp provides up to 12 hours of use on the lowest brightness setting and recharges via USB-C in a few hours.

  • It charges via USB-C with the included cable. The small LED glows red while charging and turns green when full. You can use it while it is plugged in, though using it unplugged most of the time is better for battery health.

  • Yes. It has touch controls with seamless dimming. Tap the touch button to turn it on or off. Touch and hold to set the exact brightness you want.

  • You can switch between warm white (2700K), cool white (4000K) and daylight (6500K). Warm feels gentle and cozy, cool looks clean and fresh, and daylight feels bright and energizing.

  • Tap the touch button to turn it on. Tap again to change the color tone. It cycles warm, cool, daylight, then off. Touch and hold to brighten. Release, then hold again to dim.

About the Olbia Portable Lamp

A cordless marble and travertine table lamp

The Olbia pairs a solid natural stone column with a soft fabric drum shade, finished with a matching stone cap on top. If you've been searching for a marble table lamp or a stone lamp that doesn't need a power point, it brings the weight and texture of real stone to a bedside table, side table or console with no cord to plan around. It's 25cm tall and 18cm wide, and at 5kg it's far heavier than a typical rechargeable lamp, so it stays put. Its 3W LED glows through the shade for warm, diffused light that feels closer to a classic table lamp than a battery lamp.

Travertine Stone, Cream Burgundy Marble or White Marble

  • Travertine Stone: warm beige with natural pitting, and the one to choose if you've been looking for a travertine table lamp. It suits Japandi, Mediterranean and neutral interiors.
  • Cream Burgundy Marble: cream stone with bold burgundy veining, a statement marble lamp that looks rich next to timber, olive green and deep red.
  • White Marble: white with soft grey veining, the most classic and minimal of the three.

Because each base is natural stone, the veining and markings vary slightly from lamp to lamp, so no two are exactly alike.

Battery and controls

A 2300mAh battery gives up to 12 hours on the lowest setting and recharges via USB-C in about 2 to 3 hours, and you can keep using the lamp while it charges. Tap the button on the stone cap to switch on and cycle through warm white, cool white and daylight, then hold to dim or brighten. It's made for ambient light rather than reading.

Olbia or Lekker?

Both are weighty, premium cordless lamps, but the light is different:

  • Olbia: natural stone with a fabric drum shade that glows all the way round, for a classic table lamp look
  • Lekker: solid metal, with a hidden LED that casts a soft pool of light downwards, in a low mushroom shape
