A small cordless table lamp with a candle-like glow

The Pomello is one of the smallest lamps in our portable range: 21cm tall, 13cm wide and just 0.4kg, with a metal body and a soft LED that glows from beneath its rounded cap. It was designed as a modern take on a candle, the kind of small light you carry to the dining table or bedside when the overhead light is too much.

Bellhop-inspired rechargeable lamp

If you've been searching for a Flos Bellhop-style lamp, the Pomello shares that slim stem-and-cap profile. A 1600mAh battery gives up to 12 hours on the lowest setting and recharges by USB-C in around 2 to 3 hours, with touch control for brightness and a choice of warm white, cool white or daylight. Colour options are Sunburst Yellow, Brick Red, Taupe Grey, Chalk White and Midnight Black. The Pomello is Lamp Boy's own design and isn't made by or affiliated with Flos.

A flame-free alternative to candles

The Pomello is a practical swap for real candles: there's no open flame, no wax and nothing to blow out, so it's easier to use around curtains, children and pets. Two or three Pomellos spaced along a dining table give restaurant-style light for dinner parties, and a single one on a narrow bedside table or windowsill gives just enough glow for the evening. With up to 12 hours on its lowest setting, it will comfortably last through a long dinner or a night of low light, then recharges by USB-C in about 2 to 3 hours.

Good places for a Pomello

Restaurant-style lighting on a dining or café table
A narrow bedside table or windowsill
Outdoor dinners on a balcony or patio
