Looks by you
Bought the yellow one for our dining table because I wanted a pop of colour. I worried it might be too bold, but it works perfectly. The light is soft, so dinners feel more intimate.
I use it in my reading corner and it sets the perfect mood. The dimmer is a nice touch. I can always land on the right brightness
I got it after reading so many good reviews, and I'm pleased to say they weren't wrong. It arrived well packaged and felt premium the moment I lifted it out of the box. The dimmer is smooth right across its range, and the battery comfortably outlasts what I expected from something this size. It's become my go-to lamp for evenings in the living room.

About the Tapa Portable Lamp
A rechargeable flowerpot lamp for any room
The Tapa is the portable version of the flowerpot shape: two rounded halves, one above the other, 30cm tall and 16cm wide, lit from within by a dimmable LED. There's no cord to plan around, so it works just as well on a dining table or bedside as on a balcony or bookshelf.
VP9-inspired, in six colours
The Tapa takes its cues from Verner Panton's Flowerpot VP9 portable lamp. It runs for up to 12 hours on its lowest setting from a 2300mAh battery, recharges via USB-C in about 2 to 3 hours, and cycles between warm white, cool white and daylight with a tap on the top; hold to dim. Choose from Cherry Red, Stone Blue, Mustard Yellow, Cloud White, Signal Green and Grey Beige. The Tapa is Lamp Boy's own design and isn't made by or affiliated with &Tradition.
Choosing a Tapa colour
The Tapa's six colours cover everything from bold to barely-there. Cherry Red and Mustard Yellow are the classic flowerpot colours and look great on a white or timber table; Signal Green and Stone Blue bring a playful 1960s feel to bedrooms and kids' rooms; Cloud White and Grey Beige are the easiest to place in minimalist and neutral interiors. Two in contrasting colours look great on a pair of bedside tables. If you already have the plug-in Parabola in Cherry Red or Mustard Yellow, a matching Tapa carries the same look to the dining table or balcony.
Tapa or Parabola?
The Tapa is cordless and compact. If you want a larger flowerpot lamp that stays plugged in, the 50cm Parabola Table Lamp has the same double-dome shape. Read Flowerpot Lamps: Why They're So Popular and How to Style Them, or see all portable lamps.
